Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Kingston, New York. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy healthcare environment. The position includes scheduled day shifts with a call rotation, supporting the organization's surgical services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift with scheduled call from 8:00 pm to 7:00 am. Other shifts include 7:00 am to 3:00 pm for four days a week. One day every third weekend involves a 24-hour call shift.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or similar healthcare degree, New York state licensure or eligibility, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and ability to work scheduled days and call shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous operating room (OR) and surgical experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position requires operational flexibility to support surgical teams, adherence to hospital policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and effective communication within multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should be prepared to provide high-quality perioperative nursing care, support patient safety protocols, and demonstrate clinical proficiency in the OR setting.
