Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Jackson, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care within the surgical setting. Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift with shifts typically lasting 8 hours; minimum hours per week: 40
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BLS certification; 0+ years of experience in the operating room or circulating experience of 2+ years, trauma certification at level 2 or higher, and robotics experience are required
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- Skills: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary for nursing care planning; ability to perform a variety of professional nursing services; effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel
- Additional Information: No heart experience is necessary. Candidates must have circulating OR experience of 2+ years, trauma experience at level 2 or higher, and robotics expertise. Shift hours are from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM; call requirements include one call per week from 9 PM to 7 AM and every sixth weekend (Saturday/Sunday 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM).
