Job Summary:
Operating Room registered nurse (RN) position in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves circulating during surgical procedures, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced surgical environment. The position offers a mid-shift schedule starting at 10:45 am on weekdays, with on-call shifts in a four-week rotation.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Weekday mid-shift beginning at 10:45 am; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. Valid RN license for the state of Georgia or multi-state compact license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Less than 1-year experience with clinical nursing; Completion of an accredited school of nursing with requisite clinical hours.
- Preferred Qualifications: 2-3 years of operating room circulating experience; previous travel circulating experience preferred; level 1 trauma experience would be an added benefit; experience with OR scrubs available.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have strong critical thinking skills, excellent time management, and the ability to function efficiently in emergency situations. Proficiency in English, basic computer skills, and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
