Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, individualized nursing care for patients and their families in an outpatient/clinic setting. The RN will collaborate with providers, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes, patient safety, and exceptional service. This role requires strong clinical judgment, triage skills, patient education, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Clinical Support:
- Provide expert, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care for patients and families.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and utilize critical thinking to prioritize care needs.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures while following patient safety guidelines.
- Deliver patient education regarding treatment plans, wellness strategies, and informed healthcare decisions.
- Promote optimal wellness through preventive care and health coaching.
Triage & Care Coordination:
- Manage daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction.
- Triage incoming patient requests for appointments, medications, medical advice, and services.
- Handle high telephone volume related to patient requests for medications, information, and assistance.
- Coordinate patient care with physician practices, hospitals, specialists, and community resources.
- Ensure timely communication between patients, providers, and care teams.
Professional Practice:
- Delegate care appropriately in accordance with Colorado nursing statutes.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of care.
- Advocate for patient preferences, safety, and effective communication using Relationship-Based Care principles.
- Role model Just Culture principles and organizational values.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure full HIPAA compliance.
