Key Responsibilities- Assumes responsibility and accountability for providing expert, compassionate, and individualized nursing care for patients and their families
- Oversees daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety, and satisfaction
- Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures while consistently adhering to patient safety guidelines
- Delivers patient education to facilitate plan of care and promote optimal wellness
- Coordinates patient care with other care team members and external practices as needed to achieve the highest possible level of patient outcomes
- Demonstrates competent healthcare assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills while working independently with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Must be HIPAA compliant
- Ability to delegate care appropriately and in accordance with Colorado statute
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an Operating Room or surgical nursing setting
