Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week | Evening Shift, 5x8s (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities- Perform circulating RN duties in a general operating room environment
- Support surgical procedures including general surgery, gynecology, urology, and robotic-assisted cases
- Maintain patient safety and advocate for the patient throughout the perioperative process
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient and effective OR operations
- Participate in on-call coverage, including weekday and weekend call shifts with a 30-minute callback response requirement
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated circulating experience in the operating room
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Background in general surgery, gynecology, and/or urology cases
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and team dynamics
