Key Responsibilities- Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) in a high-volume surgical environment with 9 operating rooms
- Assist with a range of procedures including lumbar/cervical spine, spinal fusion and instrumentation, robotic general/gynecological/urological, and craniotomy/neurosurgery cases
- Operate and assist with the DaVinci Robotic surgical system
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and uphold AORN guidelines throughout all surgical procedures
- Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient care coordination
- Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs, demonstrating strong critical thinking and collaborative communication skills
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be active at time of submission
- RNFA certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of current Operating Room experience
- First Assist experience with DaVinci Robot, Ortho Spine, Gynecology, Neurology, and General Surgery
Preferred Experience / Skills- Spine and neurosurgery instrument experience
- CNOR certification
- Strong physician relationship-building and communication skills
