Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities- Perform circulating duties within the operating room setting
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care throughout all phases of the surgical experience
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting within the facility's EMR system (SIS)
- Adhere to facility protocols, infection control standards, and surgical safety guidelines
- Participate in required pre-start compliance modules as assigned through HealthStream
Required Qualifications- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (or documented proof that licensure process is actively underway)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Demonstrated competency in circulating
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimal time-off requests; must be disclosed at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Familiarity with SIS or similar OR-based EMR systems
- Flexibility around holiday scheduling
