Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Neurosurgical)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:45 AM – 2:45 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a neurosurgical operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with complex neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies and complex spine surgeries
- Float to other services within the main OR based on unit needs
- Participate in on-call rotation, including one on-call shift per week and one weekend on-call per six-week schedule
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications- Valid Washington State or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
- Minimum of one year of Operating Room RN experience
- Full competency in neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies and complex spine
- Ability to participate in on-call and occasional weekend on-call requirements
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or large acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with floating across multiple OR service lines
- Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative environment
