Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (9:00–19:30 or 11:00–21:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate on a variety of surgical cases including open and endoscopic procedures
- Perform nursing duties for Otolaryngology–Head and Neck, Craniotomy, Oral and Maxillofacial, Plastic, Dental, and combined Neurosurgery/OHNS procedures
- Assist with free flap reconstructive procedures
- Float to other affiliated facilities as needed based on staffing requirements and qualifications
- Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand prior to start
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
- Previous travel assignment experience
- Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate
- Teaching hospital experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
