The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating a plan of patient care.
This is done by utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process.
The OR Registered Nurse acts as a patient advocate.
This role provides support, information, and direct care.
Technical competence in nursing procedures and equipment is essential.
The OR Registered Nurse educates patients and families on significant self-care issues.
Inventory management, distribution, and delivery of medications may also be required.
The work schedule may include day, evening, or night shifts, or a combination thereof.
You may be scheduled off for at least three holidays per year.
Weekend work may be required based on unit needs.
