Operating Room Registered Nurse – Days/Eves Rotate & Every Other Weekend

Salem, MA

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 40 Hours per Week | Day/Evening Rotating Shift with Weekend Rotation | On-Call Required

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a Level III Trauma Operating Room serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Circulate independently across multiple surgical specialties, maintaining a 1:1 clinician-to-patient ratio
• Apply basic and advanced aseptic technique throughout all surgical procedures
• Operate and assist with robotic surgical systems including Mako and DaVinci platforms
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Fulfill on-call obligations including weekday, weekend, and holiday call assignments per the 4-week schedule

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1–2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate independently across multiple surgical specialties
• Proficiency in basic aseptic technique
• Availability to rotate to evening shifts (1:00 PM–11:30 PM) and weekend shifts per the 4-week schedule, and to fulfill on-call requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
• Scrub technician or scrub nursing experience
• Prior experience with Mako and DaVinci robotic surgical systems

• Work in a dynamic Level III Trauma OR environment within a complex community setting, gaining broad multispecialty surgical experience
• No floating required, allowing you to focus and develop expertise within the Operating Room
