Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Perform both scrub and circulator roles within the operating room across a variety of surgical specialties
- Provide intraoperative nursing care for procedures including vascular, neurosurgery, orthopedic, trauma, urology, general surgery, OMFS, podiatry, and pulmonary cases
- Assist with robotic surgical procedures, with a focus on urology cases
- Support Level 2 Trauma cases as needed within the OR setting
- Accurately document patient care and surgical activities using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications- Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
- Proficiency in both scrub and circulator roles
- Experience in Vascular (open and endovascular), Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Trauma, Urology, General Surgery, and Level 2 Trauma
- Active BLS certification required
- Trauma certification required (TNCC or equivalent trauma course certification)
- Proficiency with robotic surgical systems, specifically in urology
- Familiarity with Epic charting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Charge Nurse experience in an operating room setting
- Pulmonary procedure experience (e.g., bronchoscopy, EBUS)
