    Registered Nurse – Operating Room

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00–19:30) with possible night shift rotation (19:00–7:30) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment with a predominant focus on Neuro cases
    • Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a broad range of surgical specialties including general, bariatric, colorectal, oncology, orthopedic, and neurological procedures
    • Support DaVinci robotic-assisted surgical cases as required
    • Participate in weeknight call coverage averaging 1–2 nights per week
    • Participate in weekend call coverage approximately every 4–5 weeks (24-hour Saturday or Sunday call, approximately 1–2 days per month)
    • Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or a pending Nebraska RN state license
    • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
    • Current BLS certification
    • Proficiency with EPIC charting system
    • Experience with the following case types: Lap chole, Lap appy, Ex lap, I&D, Bariatric, Colorectal, PEG & Trach, and DaVinci cases
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates are not accepted); first-time travelers are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • DaVinci robotic surgical experience highly preferred
    • Experience in Oncology, Orthopedic, and/or Neuro surgical cases highly preferred
    • Predominantly strong Neuro skillset strongly desired
