Key Responsibilities- Perform circulating duties in the operating room across a range of surgical specialties including general, gynecological, laparoscopic, orthopedic, and urological procedures
- Coordinate and manage the surgical environment to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout each case
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and scrub technicians to support seamless surgical workflow
- Document perioperative care accurately using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of circulating OR experience required
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records required
- Moderate sedation experience required
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Cardiac experience preferred
- Experience with minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures
