Travel RN – Operating Room

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM | 4-Day Schedule
Key Responsibilities
Perform observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all surgical patients
Function as both scrub and circulating RN across all service lines including joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery
Collaborate with charge RN, surgical technicians, anesthesiologists, and clinical coordinators within a 29-bed OR unit
Utilize EMR system (Meditech) for accurate and timely patient charting
Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call requirements, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call shifts within each 4-week period
Required Qualifications
Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute care Operating Room setting
Experience in orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures (including knee and hip replacement)
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Ability to scrub and circulate across all surgical service lines
Preferred Experience / Skills
PALS certification
CNOR certification
Prior charge RN experience
