Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday)
Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care within an ambulatory operating room setting
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required by the unit
- Assist with GI and endoscopic procedures approximately three days per week
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed, required of all RNs regardless of specialty)
- No open background check cases permitted; current driver's license required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Ambulatory OR experience strongly preferred
- Scrub experience preferred
