Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 10-Hour Shifts | Shifts blocked together when possible (not guaranteed) | Weekday and Weekend Call Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an operating room setting throughout the perioperative process
- Assist surgical teams by preparing and maintaining the sterile field and surgical environment
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical care
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities on both weekdays and weekends as required
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in an Operating Room or perioperative nursing setting
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts
- Availability for weekday and weekend call assignments
- Current BLS certification (ACLS may be required)
Preferred Experience / Skills- CNOR certification or pursuit of certification preferred
- Experience across multiple surgical service lines
- Strong ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
