Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, spine, ENT, plastics, robotics, neuro/spine, OB-GYN, and vascular procedures
- Support a case mix of approximately 30% inpatient, 70% outpatient, and 10% pediatric surgical cases
- Administer blood and blood products, manage epidural pumps, PICC/central lines, port-a-cath and vascular device access, wound vacs, and drains
- Assist with procedural sedation and robotic-assisted surgical cases
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend on-call coverage as required
- Float to other campuses as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; active compact license accepted
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgery
- Proficiency in procedural sedation
- BLS certification required
- Experience with orthopedic sports medicine cases (circulator and/or scrub)
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification preferred
- Scrub experience strongly preferred, particularly in ENT with endoscope experience and robotic cases
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including total joints, trauma, and vascular
