Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel Contract)

Key Responsibilities- Perform circulating RN duties in an 8-OR acute care operating room environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Participate in daily huddle at 6:45 AM and maintain a 45-minute on-call response timeSupport surgical procedures including general surgery, robotics, colorectal surgery, neuro spine, orthopedics, and urology
- Utilize Meditech ORM electronic medical records system for documentation
- Rotate on-call coverage including weekday call from end of shift through 7:00 AM and weekend 24-hour call (Saturday and Sunday)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including scrub technicians in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical setting
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Demonstrated experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and adapt to changing surgical needs
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in neuro spine surgical procedures
- CNOR certification
- More than 5 years of OR nursing experience
