    Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform circulating and/or scrub duties across a high-volume operating room environment averaging 35–50 cases per day with turnovers expected in under 20 minutes
    • Provide direct 1:1 patient care across multiple service lines including cardiac/peripheral vascular, neurology, orthopedic trauma, robotics, gynecology, urology, general surgery, pediatrics, and transplants
    • Operate and assist with advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci robotic systems, Stealth neuro-navigation, and Synthes/Stryker orthopedic trauma instrumentation
    • Maintain readiness to support trauma cases as part of a Level I trauma center, with dedicated suite capacity reserved for trauma
    • Participate in on-call coverage including weekend call from end of Friday shift through Monday morning
    • Float across multiple campuses as required throughout the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 24 months of current Operating Room experience (hospital/medical center experience prioritized)
    • Demonstrated circulating experience in the OR
    • Experience in General surgery, Da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases
    • Trauma Level II experience required
    • EPIC EMR experience within the previous 3 years
    • Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license at time of submission
    • Active BLS certification through AHA or ARC
    • Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment within the previous 15 months (no first-time travelers)
    • Valid Driver's License
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Scrub experience in the OR highly preferred
    • Experience in Neurology, Orthopedics (trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, and ENT cases
    • Trauma Level I experience
    • Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months
