Contract | Days | Onsite

• Perform circulating and/or scrub roles across a high-volume operating room environment averaging 35–50 cases per day with turnover expectations under 20 minutes
• Provide direct perioperative nursing care across multiple service lines including cardiac/peripheral vascular, neurology, orthopedic trauma, robotics, gynecology, urology, general surgery, pediatrics, and transplants
• Operate and assist with specialized equipment including Da Vinci robotic systems, Stealth neuro-navigation technology, and Synthes/Stryker orthopedic trauma instrumentation
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 16-suite OR environment, with 12–14 suites running routinely and dedicated space reserved for Level I trauma cases
• Float across multiple campuses as required and participate in weekend call coverage from end of shift Friday through Monday morning
• Work 1–2 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed

• Minimum 24 months of current operating room experience, with hospital or medical center experience prioritized
• Circulating experience in the operating room is required
• Experience in General surgery, Da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases is required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• EPIC EMR experience within the previous 3 years
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment within the previous 15 months (no first-time travelers)
• Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• Valid driver's license required

• Scrub experience in the operating room is highly preferred
• Trauma Level I experience is highly preferred
• Additional case experience in neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, and vascular surgery is highly preferred
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months is preferred

• Work in a dynamic Level I trauma center with a broad range of surgical service lines and advanced robotic and neuro-navigation technology
• Scrubs are provided on-site, supporting a seamless transition into a fast-paced, high-acuity OR environment
