Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room Circulator

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days – Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with on-call requirement
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning patient care within the operating room
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and facility policies
- Ensure appropriate supplies are available and cases proceed in a timely manner
- Communicate with patients' families and serve as a liaison throughout the surgical episode
- Maintain and update physician preference cards as needed
- Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases and supervise personnel involved in patient care delivery
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Circulator experience
- Current ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Current PALS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Robotics experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a high-volume or acute care surgical environment
- Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and procedures
