Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as assigned during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and nursing records
- Adhere to sterile technique and infection control standards throughout all procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Prior operating room nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including some weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CNOR certification or pursuit of certification
- Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical environment
- Proficiency in both scrub and circulating roles
