Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital operating room setting
- Participate in on-call rotation; weekday call hours run from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM as scheduled per call rotation
- Work weekend shifts as required, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs across like units as required
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
- Participate in emergency response team duties during hurricane season (June through November) if required
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room RN experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations and weekend requirements per rotation schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
- Familiarity with surgical scrub protocols and operating room standards of care
- Demonstrated ability to float and adapt across like units or settings
