Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Bryan, TX

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-call required: one evening per week (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and two weekend days per month (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) | Standard 30-minute on-call response time

• Circulate and/or scrub across all surgical specialties including Cardiovascular, Neuro, Ortho, General Surgery, Eyes, Endo, and Cysto
• Circulate Cardiovascular cases including CABGs, TACARs, and Carotids; scrubbing experience is a plus
• Support Neuro cases including Craniotomies (frequent after-hours call cases), TLIFs, Laminectomies, and Discectomies
• Manage Orthopedic cases including trauma, Total Shoulders, Total Knees, Total Hips, and ORIFs utilizing robotic platforms as applicable
• Operate within General Surgery including DaVinci-assisted Lap Choles, Colectomies, Hernias, Open Belly, and trauma cases
• Float between two campuses as needed and precept staff as required by the unit

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room experience; 5 or more years strongly preferred
• Cardiovascular (CV) surgical experience, including the ability to circulate CABGs, is required
• Robotics experience required; must be proficient with both the DaVinci and Mako robotic systems
• Experience with Craniotomies required due to frequency as after-hours call cases
• Ability to handle on-call responsibilities including evenings and weekends with a 30-minute response time

• Scrubbing experience in Cardiovascular surgery
• Prior preceptorship or clinical mentoring experience
• Broad multi-specialty OR background with demonstrated proficiency across all listed surgical service lines

• Consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with a structured on-call rotation
