Travel RN – Outpatient Surgery

Bradenton, Florida

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Variable Call Schedule | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care across Outpatient Surgery areas including Pre-Op, Phase 2 Recovery, Preadmission Testing (PAT), and Infusion Center
• Maintain patient ratios appropriate to assigned area (Pre-Op 1:1, Phase 2 3–5:1, Infusion 5:1)
• Assist anesthesia team with nerve blocks and other procedural support
• Document patient care accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech)
• Participate in variable call schedule in accordance with facility policy
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact licensure eligibility
• Prior experience in Pre-Op, Phase 2 Recovery, Infusion, or Preadmission Testing (PAT) — required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Ability to work a variable call schedule including every other weekend and holidays in rotation
• Comfortable working across multiple outpatient surgery areas within the same unit
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Endoscopy (ENDO) experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR — candidates with Meditech familiarity will be given priority consideration
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
