Key Responsibilities- Perform patient care functions in the Operating Room in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and applicable facility policies and procedures
- Provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members throughout the perioperative process
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Required Qualifications- Current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 per state mandate
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a collaborative team player with schedule flexibility
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Telemetry experience
