Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
Participate in on-call rotation approximately every 6 weeks, including weekday and weekend requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
