Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
- Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families
- Use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
- Contribute to a healthy workplace by managing conflict with professional communication
- Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing
Education
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with heavy Ortho, Urology, Spine, and Robotic procedures
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records
- Flexibility to float to other facilities as needed
