Supervises and directs various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Employs independent judgment in patient care delivery. Collects relevant data pertaining to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan and coordinates care delivery effectively. Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies desired outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation.
