Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: Active state license in hand or in application process Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - General OR and trauma experience required - Level I trauma experience required - Required case experience in bariatrics, general surgery, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, transplant, urology, trauma, and emergency management - Required equipment and instrumentation experience - Professional knowledge in various medical protocols and procedures Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The shift is nights, working five 8-hour shifts. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience. Candidates must have an active state license at the time of application. BLS certification is required. Candidates will work with all service lines except cardiovascular. Experience in Level I trauma settings is a must. Preferred skills include experience with Cerner. Candidates should have laparoscopic-assisted case experience and other required surgical skills across multiple specialties. Knowledge of infection control, specimen handling, and universal protocol procedures is essential. The candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with various support services. All requested time off will be reviewed and approved by management. This position does require on-call shifts, which may vary. Candidates must be willing to float within their skill set to meet facility needs.
