Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: CVOR experience required; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN highly desired; Cerner experience required Description: Provides safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of patient-centered care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Typical surgeries include cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgeries such as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts, valve replacement, Carotid Endarterectomy, and Aortic Abdominal Aneurysm repair. Would consider an OR nurse with 1 year of experience in both scrubbing and circulating.
