Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Operating Room settings, with a preference for charge experience. License: Must hold an active nursing license. Certifications: Required to have Basic Life Support (BLS). Must-Have: Previous experience in Circulating, General surgery, Orthopedics, Robotics, Gynecology, Thoracic, ENT, Oral surgery, Urology, Whipple procedures, Plastics (free flap), and Liver resections within the last 3 years. Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. Candidates must have experience in various surgical specialties, including General, Orthopedic, Gynecological, Robotic, Thoracic, ENT, Oral, Urology, and Plastics. Charge experience is preferred and is a plus for this role. Candidates should be prepared to handle a call requirement of 40-60 hours within a 6-week schedule. This position involves working Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 17:30, including potential call and holiday shifts. A strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient care in the operating room is essential. The ideal candidate will have proficiency with Da Vinci Xi surgical systems and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role includes initiating and supporting high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. The ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort is crucial. Successful candidates will be expected to float to different service areas as needed, and a scrub experience is a benefit.
