Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Circulate and/or scrub in surgical procedures across a variety of specialties
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after procedures
- Monitor patient condition during surgery and provide updates to the surgical team
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly handled and accounted for
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs for optimal patient outcomes
- Document all care and follow hospital policies and safety standards
- Travel locally as needed to fulfill assignment requirements
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license in Georgia/Compact
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
