Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care settings License: Must have a valid state license in hand Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: Must float as needed. Must adhere to call-off policy. Must have experience in required case specialties. Description: The candidate must have a teamwork approach and meet behavioral expectations. Average daily census is between 15-30 patients. On-call required: 2-4 week day calls; 1-2 weekend calls per 6-week period. No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius. Patient age groups include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Facility runs 4-6 operating rooms daily, performing 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient cases. Specialties include general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, urology, endoscopy, neurology, and pain management. Two robotic surgical systems are utilized across multiple specialties. Required case experience includes general, orthopedic (spine and joints), urology, endoscopy, neurology, gynecology, and bariatric surgery. The candidate must have experience in at least 5 of the required specialties to be considered. Special equipment includes Hana table, Jackson table, Olympus endoscopy equipment, and Storz video equipment. Floating to other units is an expectation for all travelers. The candidate must possess preferred skills in Level 1 trauma experience. Charting experience is required with familiarity in specific systems. References required from within the last 24 months.
