Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff
Hours per Week: 36
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
- Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures in a fast-paced 16-suite OR
- Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and precision
- Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse support is needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic while floating within Zone 1 as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing and sterile technique
- Comfortable with robotic-assisted procedures and complex spine cases
- Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity environments
- Proficient with Epic electronic medical records
