Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Oregon CNA license must be in hand at time of submission. Oregon RN license is not required at time of submission. Pending is okay. Certifications: BLS Required, ACLS Preferred Must-Have: Epic Charting experience is a hard stop requirement. Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is not required. Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will work during the day shift. This position will require a variable weekday schedule with 10-hour shifts. Weekday night call shifts will be 8 hours from 2300 to 0700. Weekend scheduled and call shifts may be 10 or 12 hours. Up to 6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts may be required per 6-week schedule. The daily patient census averages around 60. Patients may include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The types of procedures may involve Level II trauma patients, orthopedic, neuro, cardiovascular/vascular, general surgery, urology, gynecology, dental, ENT, plastics, and eye surgeries. This role will support various surgical procedures and requires a wide range of skills related to operating room responsibilities. The registered nurse will be part of an interdisciplinary team and will have access to support services, including IV teams and rapid response teams. Flexibility to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals may be required. Refusal to float may result in contract cancellation.
