- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 5x8
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $2470 to $2670
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments and sterile supplies
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with surgical safety standards
- Monitor patient conditions throughout the perioperative process
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely surgical documentation
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and healthcare teams
Requirements
- Active RN License in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
