Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2-3 years required, travel experience required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience with robotic XI, orthopedic, spine/neuro, general/gyn, some ENT, some ophthalmology, pain management, urology, vascular, and trauma care. - Experience in a Level 2 Trauma setting is required. - Cerner charting system experience preferred. Description: Main Operating Room position available. 2-3 years of experience strongly preferred. Travel experience is required. The schedule includes Monday to Thursday with call for one weekday and one weekend each month. The start date is within the next 3-5 weeks. Candidates should have a broad range of surgical skills, including but not limited to: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and various orthopedic surgeries. Knowledge and experience in robotic surgical systems are important. The ideal candidate will have experience with diverse patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics. A focus on infection control and patient safety is essential. The position requires adherence to universal protocol and proper specimen handling. This role demands a proactive approach to patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Expect to engage in significant surgical activity with a varied patient population. Strong communication skills and the ability to respond to emergency situations are necessary. Candidates should be adaptable and ready to support the team in a fast-paced environment.
