Total joints experience is required. Daily responsibilities include circulating in the Operating Room. Call coverage includes weekday rotations and weekend shifts approximately every 10 weeks. Holiday rotation is also required. Floating to other units may be necessary. Do not submit any requests for time off at the time of booking; all requests must be discussed with management during the assignment. The position requires experience with the Cerner charting system, although it is not mandatory unless specified. Candidates should be prepared to provide proof of residency documents upon acceptance of the position. The client audits compliance documents for discrepancies. Certifications and licenses must not expire within 45 days of the start date. Candidates are encouraged to renew certifications if they are close to expiration. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. The daily census is typically between 1 to 5 patients. The unit specializes in total joint procedures, laparoscopic, robotic, neuro, and urology surgeries. The facility includes 29 operating rooms. Travel experience is required for this position. No blocked scheduling requests will be accepted. All major holiday requests and surrounding days must be pre-approved.
