Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Experience Needed: Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, Robotics.
( possibly 15 call shifts per month. Call will vary from one month to the next. Typically it is 5-6 shifts every 4 weeks)

- Number of Beds – 11 ORs
- Shift for this position – Three twelve-hour shifts (weekends if possible)
- Call Expectation – Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period)
- Number of Staff – Varies depending on day
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs and 5 Surgical support techs
- Night Shift – One charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backup
- Patient Ratios – 1:1
- Type of equipment – Variety of OR beds and equipment
- EMR - Epic
Typical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for: OR RN
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Experience as circulator
- Experience as Scrub
- CNOR
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)
- Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plastics
