The role requires flexibility and the ability to work well in a team. The unit has 11 ORs and a staff of 53. The patient ratio is 2:1. The types of procedures performed include general surgeries, neuro/spine, cardiovascular thoracic, orthopedic, gynecology, and robotics. Candidates with prior experience using Meditech will be prioritized. Charge nurse experience is highly preferred and will be given priority in the hiring process. Precepting experience is also beneficial. Call requirements are 1-2 nights per week and 1-2 weekend call shifts per month.
