Registered Nurse – Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room - Travel - (OR RN)

Travel Registered Nurse Operating Room jobs in West Des Moines, IA let you work in a hospital environment with advanced surgical suites and a collaborative, patient-focused culture. You will provide perioperative care before, during, and after surgery, assist with surgical instruments, maintain sterile technique, and document in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Iowa RN license or compact license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and recent operating room nursing experience. CNOR certification is recommended.
Skills in technical proficiency with surgical equipment, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team are valuable. Experience with EMR systems is recommended.
