Description:
Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program.
Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and other areas of perioperative services for all patient populations.
Acts as a patient advocate.
Meets surgical standards of nursing practice.
Maintains skills in setting priorities and organizing workload effectively.
Adapts to changes in assignment and integrates multiple assignments with multilevel personnel.
Requires strong communication skills.
Must be attentive to detail.
Possesses a thorough knowledge of sterile technique.
Demonstrates a commitment to the team concept and task completion.
