Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Trauma and robotics experience required Thoric and vascular experience preferred Level I trauma experience preferred Previous travel experience required Proficient with the Da Vinci Xi robot and familiarity with DV5 preferred Ability to function independently in multiple specialties Description: The ideal candidate must possess trauma and robotics experience. Experience in thoracic and vascular specialties is highly preferred. Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit before being sent for a manager interview. A minimum of three years of experience is required. Level I trauma experience is preferred, but Level II experience is acceptable with at least one year of experience. Candidates must be able to manage 2-3 calls within a six-week matrix, with a required 30-minute response time. Availability for 3-4 weekend shifts within a six-week matrix is necessary, which may include days, evenings, or nights. Holiday shifts may be required. Floating may be required as needed. RNs are expected to scrub and circulate. Independent proficiency in general, gynecologic, thoracic, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, and vascular surgery is expected. Candidates may care for COVID patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Candidates will be required to complete essential clinical procedures, including various forms of surgery. Additional responsibilities may include managing trauma cases.
