Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10:45 AM - 9:15 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Reliable with good attendance - Punctual and committed to work - Basic competency in almost every service - Skills checklist must accurately reflect experience Description: This position requires an OR Registered Nurse to work in a full-service facility. The facility has 19 operating suites and performs approximately 55-60 cases per day, totaling around 1000 cases per month. The RN will be responsible for assisting in various surgical procedures, excluding major pediatric surgeries and transplants. While scrubbing is not required, it is preferred. There is a weekend requirement of approximately once per quarter, with an average call requirement of every seventh weekend. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Surgeons are on call 24/7 and cover their own cases. The environment operates with a focus on flexibility and collaboration among staff. The nurse manager will be in charge of overseeing the OR techs. The goal is to provide high-quality care in a dynamic surgical setting. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in their skills and be adaptable to meet the varying demands of the unit.
