Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: - Level 1 trauma experience - Circulate experience - Trauma and Neuro experience Description: No RQI certifications required. No locals accepted within a 100-mile radius. COVID vaccine is optional. Facility is required to report COVID vaccine numbers. Series must be uploaded or a declination must be submitted. Ratios are 1:1. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend requirements are 2-3 shifts per month. On-call requirements consist of 24-36 hours per month, details can be discussed with leadership. Clinician will not float outside their scope to meet facility needs. Open to accommodating block schedule: No. Pending licenses are accepted. Request for time off greater than 7 days needs approval. Guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week. Facility can call off 3 times throughout the assignment. Facility type is a Level I Trauma Teaching Hospital with 554 staffed beds. Purple scrubs are provided. Charting system used is Cerner. Special requirements include a must-have level 1 trauma experience and circulate experience. Top service lines include Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho. Special equipment used may vary. Travel compliance documents are required and due 10 days prior to the start. Travelers may be scheduled on weekend shifts depending on unit needs. No request for time off during the first 7 days or the last day of the contract is permitted. Travelers must have prior experience in the specialty. A separation of 12 months is required for former staff.
