Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: One year of nursing experience License: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification Must-Have: Operating room experience, pediatric clinical nursing, patient care coordination, patient education Description: Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reports and is accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director. Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self. Attends education programs based on identified learning needs. Uses patient education materials relevant to the patient population. Assesses readiness to learn of the patient, family, or caregivers. Assesses the developmental level of the patient and factors affecting the ability to learn. Identifies expected patient outcomes.
