Key Responsibilities of the Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
  • Prepare operating room, arrange equipment, and assist doctors during surgeries
  • Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment, keep inventory records
  • Perform pre and post-surgical tasks including shaving, transporting, and applying dressings

Requirements of the Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
  • BLS, ACLS certifications
